Jill Karlin is a visionary artist. Vivid, happy oil and acrylic paintings, lighthanded and flowing watercolors, illustrative and detailed mixed media pen and ink, gouaches: all surfaces are fair game. Hand-painted tile murals, furniture, upholstery, and floor coverings complete her repertoire. She has exhibited and is collected the world over, illustrated books, developed a typography “Bodytype”, and embarks upon her second film.
