AJ Brockman relies upon a mouse rather than a brush to create digital paintings using Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. Brockman has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and after collecting reference images (in order to achieve the correct proportions and shadows), his pieces are created using one finger.
Graduating at the top of his class with a BFA from Digital Media Arts College, AJ Brockman was awarded the Distinguished Artist Award by his professors. He has also won multiple Addy Awards, and his "Nozridr" took third-place in his first juried exhibition.
